Weekdays – Orders placed before 3 pm South Australian time will be delivered the same day unless another date is requested. All orders received after 3 pm will be delivered the next working day unless a specific date is requested.
Saturday – Orders placed by 11am South Australian time will be delivered the same day unless a different date is requested. Orders received after the daily cut-off will be delivered the following WORKING day, usually the Monday. Please phone us if you have any concerns.
Sunday – Deliveries are not available on Sunday. For special occasions, such as weddings, arrangements may be made in advance directly with us, and extra charges may apply. If an order is placed online for Sunday delivery, which has not been pre-booked, the order will be delivered on the next WORKING day.
Orders are typically delivered between 9 am and 6.00pm South Australian time. AM or PM deliveries may be requested on the ordering page. If you require a delivery before a specific time, for eg. before 3 pm, please make note of this under the "Instructions" during your order process, or contact us to make sure we can deliver as requested.
Rural Addresses
At Gawler Flower Gallery we deliver to rural communities outside of the Gawler region and the Barossa Valley. In some cases properties may be remote or difficult to find. Some Lot numbers or Farmhouses may require additional information in order for our courier to locate them or to gain access. If you are in doubt, or you believe special delivery arrangements will need to be made, please contact us before placing your order to avoid unnecessary delays. Contact phone numbers are also important to assist us in contacting recipients if necessary to avoid delays.
Specific Times
When it just has to be there at a specific time (other than funerals), please contact us as soon as possible to see if we can accommodate your request.
Funerals
When it comes to an occasion such as a funeral, we understand that your floral arrangement must be delivered at a specific time. When placing an order for a funeral please provide the time of the funeral to ensure your tribute arrives on time. Flowers are typically delivered to the funeral one hour before the service commences.
Special delivery instructions
Should you have special delivery instructions, please ensure you advise us when placing your order by making a special note in the delivery instructions during the order process.
What happens if no-one's home?
If we attempt to make a delivery and the recipient is not home, our courier will leave the flowers/gift in a safe place either at the front or back door, or in a location outlined in any special instructions that you have passed on to us (e.g. with a neighbour). If this is not possible, or we cannot gain access to the property, we will leave a calling card in the recipient’s letterbox or on the front door asking them to contact us to arrange collection of their items directly from us.
Delivery Fees
Prices on our website do not include delivery charges. Due to the extensive distance our courier travels and rural locations, delivery charges will be calculated at check out at the time of ordering and displayed on the ordering page. Local deliveries within Gawler, Hewett, Willaston and Evanston are charged at $7.
Areas outside our delivery locations
If the town or suburb is not listed in our location list, please contact us directly if you would like us to arrange the order on your behalf through Interflora.
Interstate and Overseas orders
As a member of Interflora, we can arrange to have flowers sent Interstate and Overseas on your behalf. Please contact us directly to assist you with your requirements.
